Our mission is to serve those in need through meaningful acts of service while helping students grow through engaging with others, gaining perspective, and following Jesus’ example.
Serve in Faith is a TUHS club dedicated to helping others through acts of service, kindness, and faith. We create care packages, write meaningful letters, and make fun crafts in order to serve in our community while growing together. We hope to make this club beyond just Tualatin High School, and hopefully extend future chapters at schools across Oregon!

How We Serve
We create packages for people in need.
We connect with people through volunteering.
We make homemade gifts to show people they are valued.
What do we do?
We meet at 8:00 am on monday mornings (every other week) to prepare for service through care packages, notes, and group activities. Each month, we focus on a different community to serve in meaningful ways.
Nursing Homes – Visiting residents, building connections, and delivering care packages.
Hospitals – Creating encouraging notes and thoughtful items to support patients.
Homeless Shelters – Organizing donations and preparing hygiene kits or snack packs.
Church-run Community Programs – Food drives, youth/family support, holiday gift drives, etc.
Throughout the month, members have opportunities to volunteer, connect with others, and make a real impact while growing in their faith.
By having these events to give back to the community, it is also an amazing opportunity to share the gospel with others. Anyone is welcome to join our club, no matter their beliefs, yet our main focus will always be to represent Christ and spread His word. Every person has their own testimony, and we hope that by being a part of Serve in Faith, it will inspire you to grow closer to Jesus. During our meetings, you are welcome to share your own message about the Lord by just letting one of the leaders know beforehand. We aim to not only strengthen your compassion for others but also your relationship with God. Feel free to reach out personally to any of the leaders if you need help furthering your faith!
Faith Leaders are members who choose to take a more active role in guiding the club spiritually by sharing short messages, leading reflections, and helping create a welcoming environment. They encourage others and make meetings more meaningful through their willingness to grow in their faith and support those around them. Members who are interested in becoming a Faith Leader can reach out to a club leader and will be given opportunities to step into the role and begin leading.
